Whatever boat you buy, we can supply an outboard engine that will match it perfectly. With many years' experience of the river and the surrounding coastal waters, we are ideally placed to advise on the best engine to suit your boat and its intended purpose. And a new Yamaha engine can bring new life to an older boat like the classic Westerly 22 pictured on this page.

If it's a small tender used to get ashore from your launch or yacht, a small 2 hp may be adequate; for a larger dinghy used to travel sedately up and down the river, something a little bigger like a 4 or 6 hp; for a yacht under power, a medium-sized outboard of 8 or 9.9 hp; for a cruiser that will be used in the river and out at sea, something in the range of 20 to 60 hp; and for a fast powerboat, anything up to 225 hp.
